MY HOME IS MY CASTLE Freie Scholle AWP - founded 2.11.97 in the year of fire. Founders: Michael Falkenstein and Frank Riepe The idea of happiness, settlement of worlds, privatisation and the desire to achieve private happiness drive people on. They have urbanised whole continents and established civilisation even at the most remote of places. The shaping of the world and the representation of the world are the greatest artworks of mankind. The urbanisation of our planet, from the cave to downtown, are a land-art project lasting several millennia. The protagonists are those who searched for happiness, who built houses for future generations and thus paved the way for culture and community. Freie Scholle - AWP is reviving the collective idea of settlement in a virtual and real-world concept of settlement. The locations for our settlements will be the high plains of Iceland, the Hungarian puszta, the cold forests of Canada, the Teyde on Tenerife and the strangeness of Tasmania. Learning from the settlement and building societies, we have founded Freie Scholle - AWP. A settler’s and settlement community that offers inexpensive purchase of your own home; the House of Happiness in which happiness and satisfaction are virtually preordained. With the aid of ancient wisdom, holistic insights, demands of the labour movement and scientific facts, we have created a system of mutually dependent components that guarantees happiness and satisfaction for the future inhabitants in their own homes.
